Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle. From here, drive through scenic Tanzanian landscapes to Mto wa Mbu village, a vibrant cultural hub nestled between the Great Rift Valley and the slopes of Mount Meru. Explore the village with a knowledgeable guide and experience the daily life of local communities. You will also have the opportunity to visit a nearby Maasai village, witnessing their traditional lifestyle, customs, and crafts.
In the late afternoon, continue your journey to Lake Eyasi, home of the Hadzabe people. Overnight at a lakeside lodge or comfortable eco-camp, setting the stage for a full morning of cultural immersion and traditional hunting.

Wake early for an authentic Hadzabe hunting experience, learning ancient bow-and-arrow techniques alongside the tribe as they hunt in the bush. Your guide will explain their unique survival skills, traditional knowledge of the land, and cultural rituals, providing a rare and unforgettable insight into one of Tanzania’s most fascinating tribes.
After the morning adventure, enjoy a light lunch before departing Lake Eyasi. On the return journey, you may optionally stop at a Datoga tribe village, known for their metalwork and pastoralist lifestyle, adding an extra layer of cultural richness to your experience. Arrive back in Arusha in the late afternoon, concluding your 2-day cultural journey.
