Canicada
the Caniçada dam is a popular spot for water activities. We will make our first stop with the possibility of taking excellent photos and resting with a coffee on the terrace of the marina.
We can optionally take a Stand up Paddle / or Kaiak tour for about 2 hours on the secret beaches of Albufeira (optional cost of €25 per person).
In this case, the trip to the Arado and Fafião waterfalls is canceled, keeping the total travel time the same.

After our stop, we will make a short journey across terrain around the Caniçada dam to the magnificent Arado waterfalls.

Miradouro da Pedra Bela
Miradouro da Pedra Bela is a tourist spot located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, in Portugal. With a breathtaking view of the Serra do Gerês and the Caniçada dam, the viewpoint is accessible by a hiking trail. Fafião is a village located in the heart of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, in the north of Portugal. Known for its natural beauty and unspoiled landscapes, it is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as hiking, horse riding and bird watching. The village is small and quiet, with stone houses and narrow streets, and offers incredible panoramic views of the mountains and valleys of the region.
Known for its natural landscapes and also for being a spot for the sighting of the Iberian wolf, a protected species in the country. Several tourism programs offer the opportunity to observe wolves in their natural habitat, contributing to the preservation of the species and promoting environmental awareness. In addition, Fafião is a popular destination for nature tourism, with hiking trails, waterfalls and stunning panoramic views.
