This shore excursion combines a short ferry crossing from Toulon with a scenic coastal loop on Cap Sicié. We meet at the Toulon pontoon, cross the harbor by boat, then continue toward the Fabrégas area to start the hike. The route follows rugged Mediterranean shoreline with cliffside paths, hidden coves, and wide open sea panoramas. Key stops usually include Plage de Malpasset, the former Cap Sicié semaphore for one of the best viewpoints in the area, and Fort Peyras, where we pause for stories about coastal defense and local maritime history. Expect around 9 km of hiking with moderate elevation and plenty of time for photos and breaks. The exact route may be adjusted if coastal sections are...
The Réseau Mistral “Station Maritime” area: a glass waiting shelter and white canopy right on the harbor edge, next to the floating pontoon.
Signs for “Ponton Toulon” (waterbus lines 8M / 18M / 28M stop here).

Toulon
From Toulon, the experience begins at the ferry pontoon with a short walk from the cruise port area. We board the local water ferry and enjoy a roughly 25 minute crossing across Toulon’s rade. From the boat you will see the city’s waterfront, the naval harbor area, surrounding hills, and the entrance toward the open Mediterranean. The guide uses this time to point out key landmarks and explain the geography of the bay before we disembark on the opposite shore to continue toward the hike start.
