Itinerary
This guided sake experience explores Japanese sake through the concept of terroir in the heart of Tokyo. Hosted by historic Kahoku Sake Brewery, it is engaging and accessible, even for first-time sake drinkers.
Guests start with a tasting of four sake styles, learning to identify sweetness, acidity, and aromatic versus rich profiles using an interactive tasting sheet.
Next, they discover how Daigo’s climate, water, rice, and koji culture shape Kahoku Brewery’s sake, paired with regional specialties such as Daigo’s brand chicken (Shamo), dried sweet potatoes, and sashimi-style konjac.
