The Cherchell National Museum in Algeria showcases a rich collection of Roman and Greek antiquities, including statues, mosaics, and inscriptions from the ancient cities of Caesarea Mauretaniae and Tipasa. Crossing the national road from the esplanade, we encounter the El Rahman Mosque, distinguished by an unconventional architectural style reminiscent of an ancient temple with Ionic capitals.
