The elevation of Tianmen Mountains is 1518.6 meters ( highest mountain in Zhangjiajie),the 2nd 5A spots in Zhangjiajie,also a beautiful national forest park since 1992,usually people will do pay a visit to Tianmen Mountain.People feel amazing about steep cliffs around the mountain area and great nature on the mountain,also the nice bird view of mountains and city view .The mountain is famous for its unique natural miracle - the Tianmen Cave; The gate-alike cave was created after the cliff collapsing in ancient time. Tianmen Mountain Cableway(7.5 kms longest cable car)&Bonsai Garden in the air&plank road and glass walking way&Tianmen Cave&Heaven-linking Avenue,it's worth visiting.

Drive from Tianmen mountain to Furong Town(drive for 80 minutes),and make a stop for lunch(1 hour).

Furong Town located by Youshui River which is brunch river of Yuan River(1 of 4 rivers in Hunan),here by boating can reach to Chu and Su countries,old days here is busy trade dock. Hanging on the top of the famous 2 levels waterfall,you can walk under through the waterfall,which said to be one of top waterfalls in China!Near to the waterfall also have the river and dock view,and Tujia King summer palace stilted buildings just next to the waterfall."You can enjoy the stone street with lots of local shops in the old wooden stilted buildings,and many old houses in the town looks like ancient time style which the local Tujia people still lives in.1980s famous moive shot here and the town became famous.More than 1000 years old,top 10 Charming Towns of China" in 2011,with culture&history&nature,you will find it enjoyable in Furong town,especially in the evening with lights on,the waterfall and the town it's really beautiful.

Drive back from Furong Town to Zhangjiajie,take 80 minutes.
