The itinerary starts with the visit of the most famous refectory stored inside the Santa Maria delle Grazie Church. Your visit will include a brief introduction to Renaissance art in Italy, explaining how the period became one of the most fertile periods of painting in the world and why it was that Ludovico il Moro, the Duke of Milan, commissioned Leonardo for the piece while presiding over the most important times of the Milanese Renaissance.

You will discover the Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper including skip the line tickets and a brilliant explanation on the reason why Leonardo was and painted in Milan. The viewing of the masterpiece is 15 minutes long, as are nearly all viewings, as demand is constantly high and the space available is small.

After the visit the tour continues with a stop at the beautiful little cloister of Santa Maria delle Grazie Church and then just few blocks away we continue to the Church of San Maurizio which awaits with its collection of 16th-century Renaissance frescoes. Bernardino Luini, who painted most of the church, was a Lombard artist who worked with Leonardo da Vinci. This church is another gem of Milanese art hidden behind a simple facade. Let your senses be overwhelmed and ravished by the frescoes that decorate walls and vaults. You will be astonished by its beauty. Please note that in case the Church will be suddenly closed or for other reasons you will visit the Sforza Castle instead of the San Maurizio Church
