Ye Olde Pepper Companie
Travelers will see and learn about the Ye Olde Pepper Companie, the oldest candy company in America. The candies the Ye Olde Pepper Companie make go back centuries ago when the company was founded. Candy plays an important role during Halloween, and that is what my tour company focuses on. You will learn about the candy shops here in Salem, about the history of candy, and you will get to see historic sites along the way.
The tour does allow people to go inside the candy shops. However, time is limited, and the tour guide must be mindful of the time and people on the tour. It is supposed to be a sightseeing tour where you get to learn about candy and the candy shops in Salem. So, the tour operates by stopping at the candy shop, the licensed guide speaks about the candy shop and historical information about candy. Then you go to the next stop.
The Ye Olde Pepper Companie is only one of the many stops on the tour.
