Tala Private Game Reserve
We depart from Durban at 7am and head off to Tala Game Reserve where we go on a 4 x 4 Game Drive Vehicle to see various wildlife. Tala spans some 3,000 hectares, encompassing a mix of acacia thornveld, open grassland and a sensitive wetland, which attracts more than 380 bird species, and plenty of big game, including the rhino, kudu, hippo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and much more.

Nelson Mandela Capture Site
From Howick Falls we proceed to the Nelson Mandela Capture Site, also in Howick. Nelson Mandela was arrested on 5 August 1962 outside Howick,
Natal, South Africa. He spent the next 27 years of his life in prison.
The Nelson Mandela Capture Site commemorates this moment in history with a visitor centre and a world renowned sculpture.
At Nelson Mandela Capture Site we visit the Museum and the world renowned Nelson Mandela Sculpture.
