Anmok Coffee Street
Gangneung is renowned as the birthplace of Korea's modern coffee culture. In the 1980s, the area was lined with instant coffee vending machines. By 1998, local baristas and roasters began establishing cafes, introducing hand-roasted, specialty coffee to the region. Today, many cafes along the street roast their own beans, offering unique blends and brewing techniques.
