There can always be last minutes change due to weather or other uncontrollable conditions. If the Ice cave is not accessible due to some reasons, we always offer alternatives, refunding price difference between activities. Please be advised that this tour starts from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Vatnajokull Glacier
The Vatnajökull Glacier tour lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on weather conditions and cave location. Each ice cave is naturally formed, so their shape and position change with the seasons. Your safety is the top priority. Guides carefully select the best and safest ice cave for each tour. The drive and hike to the cave may vary daily based on accessibility and weather.

This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore a stunning ice cave within Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe. If you're looking to capture or photograph the brilliant blue crystal colors of the ice, this experience is highly recommended. On the way from Jökulsárlón, you may witness breathtaking glacier landscapes, snow-covered mountains, and sweeping views of Iceland’s dramatic south coast.

On the short drive between Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the glacier, we pass by Diamond Beach (Fellsfjara) — a black sand beach where icebergs from the lagoon wash ashore and glitter against the dark volcanic sand.
