We will greet you at the Port of Callao at 8:30 AM to begin our excursion to Pachacamac. Known as the “Creator of the Earth,” this ancient Inka oracle was a site of profound spiritual importance, hosting grand festivities and sacred offerings.
Visiting Pachacamac is the perfect introduction to the Andean world before you head to Cusco and Machu Picchu. It provides essential context for Inka engineering, religion, and social structure. On this walking tour, you will explore huge mud-brick pyramids, the Inka Palace, and original trail networks. Enjoy the unique contrast of the Green Valley against the desert landscape, culminating in an impressive ocean view from the Temple of the Sun.
