los tres ojos
You will descend into a cenote cave system within the city, where you will find several naturally formed crystal clear water lakes. Each lake has its own color, depth and ambience, which makes the experience change in each space. You will walk along paths between rock formations, with natural light entering from above and creating a cool and calm environment. One of the lakes, known as Ladies Lake, is shallow and in the past was used for safe bathing, in addition to being associated with benefits for its minerals. You will also cross in a small raft into a hidden lake, surrounded by greenery, which opens up as a wider and more visually striking space. It is an experience that mixes nature, geology and history in one tour.

Faro a Colon
The Lighthouse to Columbus is one of the most imposing monuments in Santo Domingo. It was built with contributions from different countries, whose names are engraved on its base. Its name comes from Christopher Columbus, since for years it was said that its remains were here. The design of the monument allows a cross-shaped light to be projected visible from much of the city, although this function is no longer used. Inside, the space is divided into rooms representing different countries, with cultural, historical and religious exhibitions. Around the Lighthouse, you will see what is locally known as the “wall of shame”, built to hide nearby communities. The visit allows us to understand both the monumental intention of the project and its impact on the city.

Casa del Cordon
The Cordon House is one of the first stone houses built in America and a clear example of early colonial architecture. Its name comes from the carved cord on its facade, symbol of the Franciscan order and distinctive element of the building. Inside, the space has been adapted as a museum, where you can see objects, pieces and representations that help to understand life during colonial times and the relationship with indigenous cultures. Taino artifacts, historical elements and recreations showing what life was like in those early years of the city are displayed here. More than a house, it is a direct window to the beginning of Santo Domingo, where European history and local culture are connected in the same space.

Centro Cultural Banreservas
The Banreservas Cultural Center is a space dedicated to the promotion of contemporary Dominican art and culture. Housed in a restored house in the Colonial Zone, it combines historic architecture with modern exhibitions. Inside you will find rooms with visual art, photography, cinema and temporary exhibitions that change frequently, making each visit different. It also functions as an active point for cultural events, presentations and educational activities. Unlike other more traditional museums, this space connects the past with the present, showing how Dominican culture evolves today. It is an interesting stop to understand the most creative and current side of the city within a historical setting.
