Pisac
We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 0700 AM. Then in our private transport we will embark on a journey to Pisac. On our way we’ll be having a quick stop at a viewpoint in Taray.
It offers a stunning view of the valley below. You will be able to see Urubamba river snaking through the villages in the Sacred Valley of Incas.
Pisac is home to one of the massive and a beautiful inca site perched on a hilltop overlooking the village. We will be driving you up the hill to the main entrance of the complex. Here our local expert will be giving you a guided tour of the complex.
After touring the complex, we will be driving you down to the main plaza. During weekends, the narrow cobblestone streets here get filled with local people selling their handicrafts.

Urubamba
Once you have had your fill of Pisac, we will be driving you to Urubamba. It is the lowest part in the Sacred Valley of Incas. Here we will be stopping for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant.

Ollantaytambo
After relishing a typical meal, we will be continuing the tour and will be visiting Ollantaytambo. This was the most prominent site during the Inca empire. Here you will be able to witness the advancement of Incas town planning. Ollantaytambo is one of the oldest and continuously inhabited villages of the Inca empire.
The village is sandwiched between two Inca ruins. This is also the place from where you will be boarding the train to Machu Picchu and Inca Trail.

Moray
After touring Ollantaytambo, we will be visiting Maras and Moray. Both these sites have played a prominent role and continue to do even today. Moray is home to circular agricultural terraces which served as an agricultural laboratory to Incas.
Each level has a different temperature. The Incas used this place as an agricultural laboratory to determine the best weather condition needed to grow a crop.

Maras
Maras is home to the salt mines. It has been passed down generation after generation. Locals here continue to practice the traditional Solar Evaporation salt farming method. Our local expert will be explaining to you in detail.

Chinchero
Culminating the full day sacred valley tour, we will be visiting Chinchero. It is home to Andean textile. This beautiful and serene village is often overlooked by tourists. It houses a white washed church which was once a royal palace of Incan emperor Pachacutec.
Among all sites in Sacred Valley, Chinchero has the most fertile soil. During the Inca civilization, under the leadership of Pachacutec, they built many farming terraces. The water channels here are a testament to the advancement of Inca engineering.
