Itinerary

Richmond
Explore Richmond’s “Golden Village,” just south of Vancouver—one of North America’s top destinations for Chinese cuisine.
Offered weekly (Wednesdays), this experience is structured as a journey across three regions of China through iconic dumpling traditions:
Eastern China (Shanghai & surrounding regions)
Delicate flavours showcased through refined dumplings and fine dishes, including xiao long bao (soup dumplings), with guidance on how to enjoy them properly.
Southern China (Cantonese)
Comforting bites featuring translucent dumplings such as sui gow and wontons, alongside signature specialties and curated drinks.
Northwestern China (Silk Road / Halal flavours)
Bold, aromatic flavours with cumin-spiced and lamb-based dumplings or hand-made breads, inspired by regions like Ningxia and Xinjiang.
Along the way, gain insight into the cultural context behind each dish and Richmond’s evolution into a world-class dining destination.
