It is the original path that every first Catalan ski and snow enthusiast used to take to reach the beautiful Nuria Valley (1954 m). This hike is challenging and designed for participants with previous experience of hiking in the high mountains. A good physical level is required as we will climb 800 m of positive elevation gain over a 10 km distance. Ribes de Freser
Our first strategic stop for a cup of coffee, and bathroom will be at the Bar Gusi in a small town called Ribes de Freser. This is a well-known meeting hub for famous Catalan mountaineers and outdoor enthusiasts

Queralbs
Departing from a picturesque Queralbs village we will tackle 10 km distance with 800m elevation gain to reach the famous Vall de Nuria. Enjoy this challenging journey following the Camí Vell through the Nuria River gorges with waterfalls. This is a moderate to advanced hike for clients with a good physical foundation. Hiking shoes, a light raincoat, and warm layers of clothing are required.

Vall de Nuria
The iconic Nuria hotel with the shrine of the Virgin of Nuria is the main feature of this green valley. The very first draft of the Catalan Statute of Autonomy was signed here in 1931. The hotel’s exhibition showcases the legends, history, and traditions of people living in the Pyrenees. You will have time to explore the area and the surrounding lake.
