The Haverwerf is a street on the Dijle. Across the street is the Vismarkt with its great cafes.

St Rumbold's Cathedral was built in the thirteenth century. From the outset it was larger and more impressive than all the other parish churches

The Vismarkt is the nightlife area of Mechelen. You can go from pub to pub here and taste all the tasty Belgian beers

The Schepenhuis is a building in Mechelen where the aldermen's bench held its meetings in the Middle Ages. It is located at the Grote Markt, where all the cozy bars are located.

Sint-Janskerk
The spire is 55.5 meters high and is surrounded by four small turrets. The Stadsfeestzaal is located twenty meters to the southeast.

"Den Beyaert" was built in the 12th century and was originally a kind of inn where pilgrims could stay. Now it is located in the pleasant center of the city.
