Shakadang Trail
Shakadang Trail in Taroko Naitonal Park has been one of the most popular hiking trails, hikers can enjoy the vibrant turquoise waters of the river, the towering marble cliffs.
Stakataka, the name for white rocks, were found all over the riverbed of the Shakadangxi (river), mostly marble and gneiss. The river decorated by the green and white rocks and the stonewall path are the most attractive feature of the trail.

The name "Swallow Grotto" comes from the numerous small holes and crevices in the cliffs that serve as nesting sites for swallows.
