On Christmas Eve, the square hosts a special event called ‘Christmas in Eyre Square’ which includes live music, carol singing, and a visit from Santa Claus. The event culminates with a spectacular fireworks display. Throughout December, there are also free family-friendly activities such as face painting, balloon modelling, and arts and crafts workshops.
