Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
A quiet, local alternative to Vienna’s busy center, this afternoon walk explores the neighborhood where your guides Brigitte, Sabine and Walter actually live. It’s our own “walk around the block,” shaped by everyday life and by three world-class highlights: Hundertwasser’s eco-fantasy architecture, Zaha Hadid’s bold WU campus, and the Ferris Wheel that still uses George W. Ferris’ original 1893 technology. Before we meet, we suggest a relaxed lunch at Rochusmarkt - an Agora-like square beloved by locals. Along the way you’ll hear stories of Richard the Lionheart’s capture, the crafts and punishments once practiced here, and the creative minds who lived or worked in this quarter: Wittgenstein...
