The Madeira Whale Museum’s permanent exhibitions occupy over 1.000m2 divided into two rooms. The permanent exhibitions are open to the public since September 2011 and the visitor is invited to explore the waters around Madeira to discover its riches and learn more about the whales, dolphins and other marine life that inhabit these waters. The visitor is also transported in time to the early 1940s, to learn more about the history of whaling in Madeira.
