Basilica Cateriniana Di S. Domenico
We continue to Siena, the most important economic and cultural center of the Italian Middle Ages. The historic center has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Some highlights are: The Basilica of San Domenico, a large Gothic church which preserves the head of Saint Catherine.
