1
Kanshinji Temple
Enjoy the medieval scenery in the land of great samurai. The sound of your every step will carry you to buildings designated as national treasures, the Reihokan Museum housing cultural assets, and the Hoshizuka mound, dedicated to the Big Dipper. By the time you reach the graves of great samurai and the tombs of medieval emperors, you'll realize you're in the heart of real Japan.
The surrounding trees change color with the seasons. What colors will they show you when you visit?

Akasakakaminoyama Shrine
This location is adjacent to Kozenji Temple and Akasaka Kaminoyama Shrine.
The first thing you'll see at this temple, surrounded by greenery, are over 50 arhat statues. It's a breathtaking sight that's hard not to stop and take photos of.
Climb the hill and you'll find a large Buddha watching over our city. Standing beside it, admiring the view the Buddha gazes upon, you might even feel a pleasant breeze embrace you.
Also, Akasaka Kaminoyama Shrine is adjacent, a rare site where remnants of a Shinto-Buddhist syncretism still remain. There, you'll discover Japanese culture and the faith of the Japanese people, woven over a long history.

3
Kongoji Temple
Experience this temple, home to medieval emperors, as if you're traveling back in time.
As your mind calms with the sights of the Japanese garden, you'll hear the sounds of birds and bells.
As you head towards the temple, listening to the soothing sounds of the river, you'll find a precious Buddha statue designated a National Treasure waiting for you. Photography is prohibited, so be sure to burn the image into your mind.
In this tranquil temple, seeing the places where the emperor once sat and admired the moon, it's as if the pulse of history is still beating.
