Mutianyu Great Wall
The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China is one of the most well-preserved and scenic parts of the wall, located in Huairou District, about 70 kilometers (43 miles) northeast of Beijing. Mutianyu is surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills, making it particularly beautiful in the autumn when the leaves change color. The area is less crowded than the Badaling section, offering a more peaceful experience.
