At the designated time, we’ll meet up with our guide at Exit 1 (outside) of the MRT Longshan Temple subway stop. Our first destination is the Longshan Temple, one of the oldest and most iconic temples in the city, offering a glimpse into Taiwanese spiritual life through its exquisite Buddhist and Taoist styles decor.

Taipei North Gate (ChengEn Gate)
After visiting the temple we'll take Taipei's MRT for a short ride to Taipei's North Gate. Beimen is a historic landmark built in 1884 during the Qing Dynasty. It’s the only surviving gate from Taipei’s original city walls that retains its authentic look.

From Beimen North Gate we'll walk to the entrance of the historical Dadaocheng, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Taipei.

Yongle Textile Market
This fabric market is Taipei’s top textile hub, offering a wide range of fabrics—from traditional prints to modern designs. Located in a historic building, it also features tailor shops and a vibrant wet market downstairs.

Taipei Xiahai City God Temple
Dadaocheng also hosts one of the most popular temples in the city, the City God Temple. The history of this temple is intimately tied to the history of Dadaocheng, as it was founded shortly after the first settlers came to Dihua Street. This temple is also popular amongst the locals for being the place to pray to find your special one.

Sin Hong Choon
(OPTIONAL, depends on availability) This old Tea Shop was established in 1934 in Dadaocheng. Is a beautifully restored three-story building that once served as a tea shop, factory, warehouse, and residence.

有記名茶 WANGTEA | 茶廠 Refinery Tea Factory
If Sin Hong Choon is no available on the day of your tour we can visit beautiful Wang tea instead. Run by the Wang family who moved to Taiwan from China in 1890. Their shop was their base for the export of tea to Southeast Asia. We will have the opportunity to visit Wang’s tea factory and discover the traditional way to produce and store tea. The store’s staff and our friendly guides will guide you through the basic types of tea (oolong, black, green, tieguanyin, etc.) and demonstrate how to perform a Taiwanese tea ceremony.

Dadaocheng Wharf
Dadaocheng Wharf, also known as Pier 9, is a scenic riverside destination in Taipei's historic Dadaocheng district. Once a bustling trade port, it now offers picturesque sunset views over the Tamsui River, lively food stalls, and a relaxed atmosphere.
