Kanheri Caves
The Kanheri Caves are a group of caves and rock-cut monuments cut into a massive basalt outcrop in the forests of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, on the former island of Salsette in the western outskirts of Mumbai, India.
Primarily a Religious place mostly visited by ‘Digambar Jains‘ of Mumbai which is one of the sub-community in Jains. If you love greenery, peace, calm & being near to nature, This is a place to be. During special occasions & festivals like ‘Samvatsari’, ‘Full moon Day’ and others and also regularly visited for ‘Darshan’ & ‘Rituals’, Teenmurti Jain mandir has visitors in families, picnic groups and few tourists too.
