Three of Lebanon's most significant natural and spiritual destinations — one private day from Beirut. Jeita Grotto: a UNESCO tentative World Heritage Site and New 7 Wonders of Nature finalist, 9 kilometres of limestone cave system of extraordinary natural beauty. Harissa: Lebanon's most iconic mountaintop shrine, reached by cable car at 650 metres above the Mediterranean. Annaya: the mountain hermitage of Saint Charbel — Lebanon's most venerated saint, canonised by Pope Paul VI in 1977, whose monastery and hermitage draw pilgrims from across the world to a remote mountain village that has barely changed since he died there on Christmas Eve 1898. The combination is unique — natural wonder, na...

Beirut
9:00 AM — Departure from Beirut
Your driver meets the group at your hotel and heads north — Jeita Grotto is 30 minutes away and the day begins underground.
2
Jeita Grotto
Jeita Grotto — UNESCO tentative site · New 7 Wonders finalist
Two cave systems, two completely different experiences. The upper cave on foot — stalactites and stalagmites up to 8 metres tall, formed over millions of years into formations of extraordinary scale and beauty. The lower cave by silent electric boat — gliding along an underground river through chambers of absolute stillness. One of the most spectacular natural experiences in the Middle East, 30 minutes from Beirut.

Téléferique Harissa
Harissa cable car — 650 metres above the Mediterranean
Board the Téléférique at Jounieh seafront and ride up to 650 metres as Jounieh Bay opens dramatically below — one of the most photographed views in Lebanon. Your driver shares the coastal geography and the story of Harissa as you ascend.

The Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon
Our Lady of Lebanon — the national shrine
The 8.5-metre bronze statue of Our Lady of Lebanon — arms outstretched toward the Mediterranean — one of the most visited and most recognisable religious monuments in the Middle East. The Maronite Basilica and neighbouring churches surround it. Panoramic views over the Lebanese coast. Revered by Christians and Muslims alike and one of Lebanon's most defining landmarks.

Monastery Saint Maroun
Monastery of Saint Maroun & Hermitage of Saint Charbel — Annaya
Drive into the mountains above Jbeil to Annaya — a remote Lebanese village where Saint Charbel Makhlouf lived, hermitted, and died on Christmas Eve 1898. Canonised by Pope Paul VI in 1977, Saint Charbel was the first Middle Eastern saint of the modern era and remains one of the most venerated figures in the Maronite Church worldwide. The Monastery of Saint Maroun houses his tomb — a pilgrimage destination drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors annually from Lebanon and across the world. A short walk from the monastery leads to the hermitage where he spent the final twenty-three years of his life in complete solitude — a simple stone cell on the edge of a mountain ridge, unchanged since the day he died in it. Whether you come as a pilgrim or as a traveller drawn by the extraordinary story of this place, Annaya is one of the most quietly powerful stops in Lebanon.
