You are the whole day, with your guide, inside the countryside of Crete. The roads are almost all off road, the chance to see the real inland of Crete! We drive through the mountains towards the grape yards of the wine areas, passing small villages, through a river bed, sheltered by bamboo, a lot of nature. We visit a special cave with a 'holy' meaning. Good walking shoes are necessary.

This small mountain village is the ideal place for a stop. On the village square, next to the church, we can use the toilets and have a drink at a traditional taverna.

We cross a gorge driving off road.

We pass at the Aposelemis Dam to see this 'sunken' mountain village.

We have a local lunch in a very idyllic small mountain village.
