One of the unique features of Gullfoss is that it appears to disappear into the earth as it cascades down the two tiers. The sound of the water crashing into the canyon is deafening & the mist that rises from the falls creates a beautiful rainbow on sunny days. It is 10 minute drive from Geysir Geothermal Area
