Welcome to the Bavarian Alps! We arrive at Obersalzberg and board the special mountain buses, followed by a ride in the original brass elevator up through the solid rock to the Eagle's Nest. Perched at 1,834 meters (6,000 ft), this building was designed as a presentation gift for Adolf Hitler. Today, it offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the Alps. Your guide will separate the myths from reality, sharing the dark history of the site while you take in the majestic scenery.

After descending from the German mountains, we take a short drive back into Austria to the fairytale city of Salzburg. Enjoy a guided walking tour through its UNESCO-listed historic center. We will stroll through the beautiful Mirabell Gardens (famous from "The Sound of Music"), see Mozart's Birthplace, and admire the stunning Baroque architecture. Afterwards, you will have free time to enjoy a traditional Austrian lunch or a slice of cake at a classic coffee house.
