Itinerary
1
Pienza
First, along the panoramic road, you’ll admire breathtaking views of the Val d’Orcia, including some of the iconic filming locations from Gladiator. Then, you’ll visit the Pieve di Corsignano, a fascinating Romanesque church with centuries of history. Arriving at Piazza Pio II, the heart of Pienza, you’ll take in the elegance of Renaissance architecture. Finally, you’ll stroll through the town’s most charming streets—Via del Bacio and Via dell’Amore—where every turn holds a story and a perfect photo opportunity!
20 minutes
2
Val d'Orcia
Riding your e-bike along the white roads between Pienza and Bagno Vignoni is like stepping into a postcard. You’ll pedal through the rolling hills of the Val d’Orcia, surrounded by endless wheat fields, cypress-lined paths, and breathtaking landscapes at every turn. The journey is smooth yet exhilarating, with gentle climbs made effortless by your e-bike. As you approach Bagno Vignoni, the scent of thermal waters fills the air, welcoming you to this charming village where history and nature blend in perfect harmony.
45 minutes
3
Bagno Vignoni
Pedaling towards Bagno Vignoni, you’ll be immersed in the timeless beauty of the Val d’Orcia. As you ride along the iconic white roads, every turn reveals landscapes that seem painted by the masters of the Renaissance. Then, suddenly, the village appears—a hidden gem built around its famous thermal pool, steaming gently at the heart of the main square. Here, history and nature intertwine, creating an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the world.
30 minutes
4
Cappella Madonna di Vitaleta
Depending on the group’s level, we can choose to visit the Chapel of Vitaleta—one of the most iconic spots in Tuscany. Framed by rolling hills and cypress trees, this small yet enchanting chapel is famous for its appearance in Gladiator, where Maximus envisions his home while walking through the golden fields of Val d’Orcia. A truly magical place that feels suspended in time.
30 minutes
5
San Quirico d'Orcia
Alternatively, instead of visiting the Madonna di Vitaleta, we have a fantastic climb that will truly test the power of our e-bikes, showing that anyone can enjoy an experience with us. This route will take us to Bagno Vignoni Alta, where we’ll enjoy panoramic views over the entire valley. From there, a gentle descent will lead us to the charming town of San Quirico d’Orcia, a beautiful spot to explore and immerse in the authentic Tuscan atmosphere.
This route is less common, perfect for those who want to venture off the beaten path and experience something beyond the usual highlights. It offers a more unique and authentic perspective of Tuscany, away from the typical tourist areas.
30 minutes
6
Mulino Val d’Orcia
Guided visit of a historic Val d’Orcia mill, followed by a private Tuscan lunch reserved exclusively for our guests. Here you will taste pasta produced directly from the mill’s own organic grains, cultivated without pesticides — a genuine farm-to-table experience that naturally completes the ride.
