1
Santuario della Divina Misericordia (o Chiesa del Sacro Cuore di Gesù)
The Church of the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, housed inside the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, is one of the most significant historical and artistic testimonies of Pescara. Built starting from 1886 and designed by the architect Porta di Torino, it is located in the heart of the Adriatic city.

2
Museo Casa Natale di Gabriele d'Annunzio
The birthplace of Gabriele d’Annunzio is located along the main street of old Pescara, once enclosed within a military fortress demolished during the poet’s childhood. The house is today a symbolic place of Italian culture.

Cattedrale San Cetteo
The Cathedral of San Cetteo, dedicated to the patron saint of Pescara, is one of the most important historical and religious symbols of the city. It is located on Viale Gabriele d’Annunzio , in a position that was once central to the inhabited nucleus of ancient Pescara.

4
Ponte del Mare
Opened to the public in 2009, the Ponte del Mare is an iconic structure that connects the two banks of the Aterno-Pescara river, symbolically uniting the city’s northern and southern marinas. At 466 meters long, it is the longest cable-stayed cycle-pedestrian bridge in Italy and among the largest in Europe.

La Fontana Nave di Cascella
The Fontana La Nave is an important sculpture by Pietro Cascella , created in 1986 and donated to the Municipality of Pescara. After being exhibited for a few months in Florence, the fountain was inaugurated on July 4, 1987 and positioned in Largo Mediterraneo , along the Pescara seafront, a short distance from the beach.

We are in one of the most iconic places in Pescara and its history is closely linked to the tragic events of the Second World War. Let's discover the story and few curiosities about this place!

Chiesa Madonna dei Sette Dolori
The Basilica of the “Madonna dei Sette Dolori”, dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, is an important religious, historical and cultural reference point for Pescara and the entire Abruzzo region. The cult is based on the Christian tradition that celebrates the Seven Sorrows of Mary, episodes that symbolize the suffering experienced by the Virgin.
