Laguna de Oviedo
Visit to the Oviedo Lagoon, located in the heart of the Jaragua National Park (Pedernales), an oasis for migratory birds, rhinoceros iguanas, plant varieties and local communities. Observation of the four species of mangroves (red mangrove, black mangrove, white mangrove), flamingos, spoonbills, mangrove canaries, several species of herons, terns and many others. In addition to being an impressive place to observe the local fauna and flora, the Oviedo Lagoon also offers the opportunity to enjoy a natural mud bath. The mud found in the lagoon is rich in minerals and nutrients that are beneficial for the skin. The benefits of the mud bath in the Oviedo Lagoon include deep cleansing of the skin, elimination of toxins, improvement of blood circulation and reduction of inflammation. In addition, the mud can help soften the skin and improve its texture.
