Motithang Takin Preserve
The Motithang Takin Preserve also known as the Mini Zoo by many is a small natural preserve for the Takin - Bhutan’s national animal. This is a rare animal of the goat antelope family and a particular species is only found in Bhutan. The preserve is a forested preserve that mimics the Takin’s natural habitat, in addition to the Takin there are a few musk deer and barking deer that live inside the preserve.

Thangthong Dewachen Nunnery
Also known as the Thangthong Dewachen Nunnery, the Zilukha Nunnery is housing around 60 nuns in its premises, a visit to the site energizes the soul because of its peaceful surroundings, which lures one’s mind to never leave the site. From here, the spectacular view of Tashichho Dzong can be captured in a camera to make for a beautiful photo album.

Tashichho Dzong, also known as the Tashichhoedzong, is a prominent fortress and monastery located in the capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu. It serves as the seat of the Bhutanese government and houses the throne room of the King of Bhutan. Tashichho Dzong is a significant religious and administrative center and plays a crucial role in the political and cultural life of Bhutan.
