1 Stop
1
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Starting your day at 5:50 AM, depart from Kabale for a scenic 2-3 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, arriving at the park headquarters around 8:00 AM for registration and a ranger briefing on gorilla tracking guidelines. By 8:30 AM, embark on your trek into the dense rainforest, navigating steep terrain and lush vegetation in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take 1-5 hours, depending on the gorillas' location, and upon finding them, you'll spend an unforgettable hour observing their behavior in their natural habitat. Afterward, trek back to the starting point, where you'll have a packed lunch or dine at a nearby lodge before beginning your return journey to Kabale around 2:30 PM, arriving back by 5:30 PM
