Mt. Inasa
Mt Inasa Slope Car: The Mt. Inasa Slope Car is a unique, modern transportation system that connects the base of Mt. Inasa to its summit, offering visitors a stylish and efficient way to reach one of Japan’s most famous observation points. From the upper station, it’s a short walk to the observation deck, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Nagasaki, including its famed “10 million dollar night view,” ranked among the top three nightscapes in Japan.

Nagasaki Peace Park
Nagasaki Peace Park features a statue symbolizing divine love and compassion, honoring the victims of the atomic bomb and expressing a strong wish for lasting peace. The statue’s right hand points to the sky, representing the threat of nuclear weapons, while the left hand extends horizontally to signify peace. Its calm, prayerful expression transcends religious boundaries, offering silent tribute to the approximately 70,000 lives lost.

Spectacles Bridge (Meganebashi)
Megane Bridge Built in 1634 by Chinese Zen priest Mozi Ruding of Kofukuji Temple, Megane Bridge is Japan’s first stone arch bridge. Spanning 22 meters in length, 3.65 meters in width, and standing 5.46 meters above the river, it is named “Megane” (glasses) for the way its twin arches reflect in the water, resembling a pair of spectacles.

Shinchi Chinatown
Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown is the oldest Chinatown in Japan and one of the country’s three major Chinatowns, alongside those in Yokohama and Kobe. The district covers about a city block and is filled with approximately 250 shops and restaurants, offering a wide variety of Chinese cuisine, sweets, and goods. The main attractions are its colorful streets lined with eateries specializing in local specialties like champon and sara udon. Kakuni manju and other dim sum are also popular.
