Early morning departure from Marrakech, drive 1h30 to the village of Imlil (1740 m)
Meet your guide, have a tea, then begin trekking up the beautiful Aït Mizane valley, passing through the village of Aremd and the shrine at Sidi Chamharouch
Continue the uphill ascent to the mountain refuge at about 3,200 m (often the Refuge du Toubkal). Trekking time ~5-6 hours.
Overnight at the refuge. Rest, enjoy dinner, acclimatis
