About
Castle Valley is the poster child for Western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a John Wayne movie, TV show, or a commercial or two. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!
This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful valley lined with monuments. Along the way are some of Utah’s most impressive geologic features like Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and more.
As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off...

Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
Meet us at our Moab office! After you're check in and fitted for a life jacket, we'll take a scenic shuttle out to the most dramatic section of Castle Valley along the Colorado River.
After a quick safety orientation we'll hit the river, floating past the most scenic monuments of Castle Valley. Fisher Towers, the Priest and Nuns, and other geologic masterpieces will be in the backdrop as we meander. Your guide will share stories about the area's rich history, how these geologic wonders formed, and probably some river lore and good old fashioned dad jokes.
We'll splash through a couple mild class II rapids, adding a little more zest to the fresh morning air. Feel free to paddle with them,...
