The site is located at Balcarce 433, in the San Telmo neighborhood. It is located in a historic building in Buenos Aires, on land that since 1606 was occupied by the Order of Santo Domingo (whose convent is located on the same block). Its antiquity, its architecture, and the history it contains make it today a unique place in the entire city of Buenos Aires. Preserving the characteristics of the buildings prior to the first half of the 19th century, it was remodeled in 1752 to convert it into a merchandise warehouse.
