Acropolis
Step into the heart of ancient Athens with a guided visit to the Acropolis, the city’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk among world-famous monuments like the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike while learning the myths, history, and genius behind classical Greek architecture. Enjoy breathtaking views over Athens and discover how this sacred hill shaped Western civilization.

The Academy of Athens
The “Athenian Trilogy” is one of the finest examples of neoclassical architecture in the city, and the Academy of Athens is considered its jewel. Built in the 19th century, it was designed by Danish architect Theophil Hansen and symbolizes Greece’s revival as a modern nation inspired by its ancient past.
The Academy is famous for its elegant Ionic columns, marble statues, and symbolic figures representing wisdom and learning. In front, you’ll see striking statues of Plato and Socrates, while the tall columns are topped by Athena and Apollo — guardians of knowledge and the arts. Together with the nearby University of Athens and the National Library, it forms a landmark trio that reflects Athens’ intellectual and cultural identity.

Lykavittos (Mount Lycabettus)
Mount Lycabettus is the highest point in central Athens and one of the best panoramic viewpoints in the city. Rising above the neighborhoods of Kolonaki and Ambelokipi, it offers stunning views over the Acropolis, the Aegean Sea, and on clear days even as far as the islands. At the top you’ll find the whitewashed Chapel of St. George, a peaceful spot with a classic Greek feel. Visitors can reach the summit on foot or by funicular, making it a popular stop for photos—especially at sunset.

Kallimarmaro
The Panathenaic Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro, is one of Athens’ most impressive landmarks and the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble. Originally constructed in ancient times for the Panathenaic Games, it was restored in the 19th century and became the main venue of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Today, visitors can walk along the track, explore its historic stands, and imagine the roar of the crowds as athletes competed here more than a century ago. A visit offers a unique blend of ancient heritage, Olympic history, and great photo opportunities.
