After hotel pick-up from Livingstone, Zambia or Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, guests are transferred directly to the Zambezi River rafting start point. Upon arrival, travelers are welcomed by professional, certified river guides who conduct a comprehensive safety briefing and provide all required rafting equipment, including helmets, life jackets, and paddles. Guests then proceed on a guided walk down into the Batoka Gorge to access the river. This walk is scenic but steep and requires a moderate level of physical fitness.
