Starting at Martin-Luther-Ring 4, 04109 Leipzig, Germany, open the Explorial app and enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message. The riddles take you through a city that has shaped European music and history in equal measure.
The first clue leads to the Thomaskirche, where Johann Sebastian Bach served as cantor for 27 years and where he is now buried beneath the choir floor — a pilgrimage site for music lovers and a working church of extraordinary historical depth.
From there the app guides you to Augustplatz, Leipzig's grandest square, bordered by the opera house and the university's main building — the site of the famous Monday demonstrations in 1989 ...
