Despite being close to many of Turkey's most popular tourist attractions and holiday destinations, the region surrounding Mount Latmos (now Besparmak) has been kept relatively secret. Its boulder-covered landscape is dotted with traditional villages where residents still make their living harvesting honey, pine nuts, and olives, some in colorful traditional clothing. The area is also steeped in ancient history, from 8000-year-old wall paintings and Hellenistic ruins to monasteries and frescoes left by the Byzantines. Itinerary
After your pick up from the hotel, the transfer will take you up to Kayabuku village where we will start the ride.
Our bikes and equipment will be at the starting point, along with some snacks and drinks. After donning your helmets and protective gear, our guide will provide a briefing about your bike, equipment, and the route.
We'll start with a short uphill section on a lesser-used village road to get used to the bikes. In a few kilometers, we'll merge onto a dirt track, heading across scenic slopes and between pines, olive trees, and incredible rock formations.
