This guided walking tour is a simple yet serene and immersive walking experience designed to showcase the natural beauty, culture, history, heritage and charm of Landour & Mussoorie!
Here’s what the walk typically involves:
1. Starting Point: Char Dukan! Meeting point & briefing.
2. Walking Through Lal Tibba, Landour Mall Road, Sisters Bazaar & other such places.
You’ll meander through the scenic landour pathway/road, passing old churches, colonial-era architecture, colourful old bungalows and other spots. Along the way, you’ll learn about the area’s history, culture, and its significance as a retreat for artists and writers.
3. Stunning Himalayan Views:
The walk offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, valleys, and surrounding forests.
(However, we recommend booking this tour on weekdays and not on weekends as it can be crowded with people & cars on weekends and always choose early mornings)
