Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
We will be picking you up from your hotel in Puno and transfer you to the boat pier. At 07:45 AM you will be boarding the motor boat to the renowned floating islands of Uros. On these reed islands, we will be giving you a complete guided tour which would give you an overview of the daily life of the locals and a bit of a history to know how these man-made islands came into existence.
At 10:30 AM approximately, you will be boarding the motor boat and cruise to Amantani Island, through the highest navigable lake in the world - Lake Titicaca. At 01:30 AM approximately we will be reaching Amantani island. Upon arrival, the locals there will meet you and escort to one of their homes on the island, where you will be spending the night. Once you settle in to your private room, they will offer you an islands typical food for lunch (with options for vegans). In the afternoon, you will be spending some time with the family, interacting with them and taking part in intercultural activities and games. You can also do an hour’s hike (uphill) to the temple of Pachamama and Pachatata from where you would get breathtaking views of the sun setting over the world’s highest navigable lake. Dinner will be served at around 7 PM at the local house. In the evening you can join in group performances with dances and music. Overnight on the island.
