Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
Kandy is the last capital of the ancient kings of Sri Lanka. The Temple of Tooth Relic is located mid of the Kandy municipality and some other historic buildings are also there, so it was declared world heritage city in 1988. Remained tooth of Lord Buddha is deposited the palace here and the first most venerable temple of world’s Buddhists is that. You can visit the Kandy museum after seeing Tooth Relic. World famous dancing and item producing culture is preserved there so travellers like to explore and collect souvenirs. Temperature is low this part of the county and cool.

Royal Botanical Gardens
The Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden is Sri Lanka’s largest and most visited botanical garden, covering about 147 acres. Established during the British period in 1821, with roots dating back to the 14th century, it is known for its rich collection of tropical and subtropical plants. Main attractions include the famous Orchid House with over 300 orchid varieties, scenic Palm Avenues, the massive Javan Fig Tree, Spice Garden, Bamboo Collection, Great Lawn, and the Medicinal Garden showcasing Ayurvedic plants. The garden offers a cool and pleasant climate, ideal for leisurely walks, photography, and educational visits.

Kandy Lake Club - Cultural Dance Show
The Kandy Lake Club Cultural Dance Show is one of Sri Lanka’s most popular cultural performance. It brings together traditional dance forms from different regions of Sri Lanka, showcasing the island’s heritage through rhythm, costume, music, and ritual. The one-hour show features a variety of performances including Kandyan classical dances, Low Country and folk dances, mask dances, and several animal-inspired dances such as the peacock dance.
