From pick-up location in Jodhpur, we'll head towards Salawas and visit a carpet making workshop, Durry Udhyog, where you can experience and take part in the delegate and detailed hand crafitng of carpets. After that, we'll visit a textile & fabric making warehouse with a wide variety of handmade fabrics using traditional techniques such as tie-dye, block printing, hand stitching and many more. These fabrics are then used for products such as swiss tents, bed & pillow covers, table cloths etc. Heading to Basni industrial area where you'll find many different handicraft factories specializing in handmade wood and stone products. Visit the local general market at the foot of the Clock Tower in Jodhpur. The clothing market in the outside areas of the tower is a must visit for all traditional clothing items such as sarees, bandhani sarees, tie-dyed items etc.
