Inca Jungle Trek. This trek offers hiking at a lower altitude than the Salkantay trek, and also includes mountain biking and optional activities such as canoeing and zip-lining. That sounded perfect, so we separated our trek with Dos Manos.

Santa Teresa
The trip to the Inca jungle starts very early with the pick up from the hotel between 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. To then embark on the route towards the sacred valley of the Incas, passing through Chinchero, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo. Where they will make a small stop to buy water or another that we need for the tour. Throughout the journey we will be able to appreciate beautiful landscapes until we reach the Abra Málaga located at (4,200 masl), arriving at approximately 11 am, where they will begin the descent on bicycles towards the jungle edge, passing through small towns, fruit fields, rivers and streams until reaching the town of Huamanmarca, where the descent with the bicycles will end, and then continue on the transport to the town of Santa María, where they will have a delicious lunch. After a short break they will thus start a new adventure; which is boating or rafting which includes the respective protection articles; helmets, vests, knee pads and life gloves, this section has III-IV difficulties (medium risk) with exciting rapids and with some turbulence but all supervised by our professional and experienced guides (certified in extreme sports), we will also be accompanied of a professional kayak. After this exciting adventure we will be transported to the town of Santa Rosa from where we will walk for about 20 minutes until we reach the El Grifo lodging where we will spend our first night surrounded by vegetation and beautiful landscapes. Non-boating travelers may overtake the group by moving to the same destination with an assistant guide.
