Corinth Canal
The Corinth Canal is an artificial canal in Greece that connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland. At the Corinth Canal, you’ll have a short break to refresh and stretch your legs while taking in one of Greece’s most impressive engineering feats and enjoiyng the view of this remarkable man-made passage. From the viewpoint above, you can look down into the narrow canal carved through rock and take striking photos of the waters connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas.
