Lagoa Azul
A Lagoa Azul é uma piscina natural com fundo arenoso, algumas rochas e água predominantemente azul, localizada entre duas ilhotas na importante região histórica de Freguesia de Santana. O local é um agregado geográfico da Ilha dos Macacos,A região é belíssima com recantos dignos de chamarmos de paraíso. Está bem próxima de outras praias sensacionais, Grumixama, Baleia, Freguesia Sul e norte.
Lagoa Azul, apelido turístico inspirado no clássico do cinema dos anos 80 com a atriz Brooke Shieldes, é um ponto turístico dos mais badalados da Ilha Grande. As embarcações ficam ancoradas e os visitantes podem descer para nadar, flutuar com “macarrões” (flutuadores de espuma) fornecidos pelas tripulações, praticar snorkel ou alimentar os peixinhos “sargentinhos” (nome científico abdufdef) com miolo de pão, já viciados de serem alimentados pelos visitantes. No alto verão, a região fica lotada de lanchas, veleiros, escunas.
